How We Treat One Another
This is a community before it is anything else. These guidelines are what make it safe enough to be honest in.
Come honestly
- Use your own Screen Name and your own words.
- Be truthful in your application, your answers and your conversations.
- Say where you are in life rather than where you think you should be.
Move at a human pace
- Love is not rushed. Take the stages as they open.
- Nobody owes you a reply, a connection, or a reason for passing.
- If someone steps back, let them.
Guard one another's privacy
- What is shared in Pillow Talk stays there. Do not record, screenshot or repeat it.
- Pillow Talk is camera-off and Screen Name only. Please keep it that way.
- Do not share another member's identity, photos, messages or story outside the community.
Never acceptable
- Harassment, pressure, contempt, or sexual messages that have not been welcomed.
- Asking members for money, investments or gifts, or promoting a business.
- Pretending to be someone else, or hiding a marriage or partnership.
- Racism, cruelty, threats, or using faith to shame or control another person.
Reporting and what happens next
- You can report a member or a session from within the community. Reports go to our team, not to the person reported.
- We read every report. Depending on what we find, we may talk with the member, restrict their access, or remove their account.
- A suspended account loses access to the journey, connections, messages and Pillow Talk, including any staff privileges.
- We cannot promise a specific outcome or response time, and we will not pretend a report guarantees safety. Please also take the ordinary precautions you would with anyone you are getting to know.
If you are in danger
- Contact your local emergency services first. We are not an emergency service and cannot respond in real time.
